Nadine has a long history with the Richard Tucker Music Foundation, having received the 2010 Sara Tucker Study Grant, the 2013 Richard Tucker Career Grant, and the 2017 Richard Tucker Award. This year, she has been invited once again to perform at the 2018 gala evening. The annual gala, one of the most highly anticipated events of the opera season, returns home to New York’s Carnegie Hall for the first time in more than a quarter of a century on Sunday, October 21. Bass-baritone Christian Van Horn, winner of the 2018 Richard Tucker Award, joins a host of today’s greatest opera luminaries: past Tucker Award-winners Angela Meade, Stephanie Blythe, Michael Fabiano, and Christine Goerke; soprano Anna Netrebko; tenors Javier Camarena and Yusif Eyvazov; and baritone Quinn Kelsey. Maestro Marco Armiliato leads members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and the New York Choral Society in an evening of opera arias and ensembles. If you can are not in New York City, you can watch the performance live at 6:00pm EST / 3:00pm PST via medici.tv.
