Ms. Sierra’s summer 2018 schedule has just been announced, and includes engagements at several prominent festivals in the United States. Her 2017/2018 opera season ends in Paris, where she performs the role of Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale in a new production at the Opéra national de Paris. Ms. Sierra returns to the United States after the final performance on July 12th, and flies to California to perform at the Festival Napa Valley. There, she opens the festival, performing at the gala concert alongside tenor Bryan Hymel. Tickets for this gala event on July 20th are available here.  Two performances at the Ravinia Festival are next. The first, entitled Bernstein and Friends,  is on August 10th. Ms. Sierra performs with American tenor Michael Fabiano, accompanied by pianist Kevin Murphy. She performs again the following day with another American tenor, Matthew Polenzani, this time singing a selection of Italian arias with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of James Conlon. Tickets to this event are available here. Ms. Sierra finishes her summer season with a gala performance at the Tanglewood Music Festival in Lenox, Massachusetts. One of many star performers, this fundraising gala evening is on August 25th, and includes performances by Thomas Hampson, Yo-Yo Ma, Midori, Michael Tilson Thomas, Susan Graham, Isabel Leonard and others. Andris Nelsons, Keith Lockhart, and John Williams conduct the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
