After starting the year in New York City, singing the role of Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro at The Metropolitan Opera, Ms. Sierra turns her attention to recital and concert work in the United States, and in Europe. On February 9th, she embarks on a three-date tour of the East Coast of the United States with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. Ms. Sierra sings a mix of duets and arias with the star tenor. Broadway and TV star Kristin Chenoweth will also be joining the tour. The first show is in Charlotte, North Carolina on February 9th, and continues on to Sierra’s native Florida, with performances in Miami on February 11th, and Tampa on February 14th. Ms. Sierra will be holding a contest for a pair of tickets and pre-show meet-and-greet for each of the concerts via her social media channels. Next, she performs in two recitals at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City with pianist Bryan Wagorn, on February 16th and 18th. Strauss, Villa Lobos, Barber, and Bernstein are among the composers featured. Rome is next on the agenda, where she performs in Bernstein’s Kaddish, with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. Conducted by Anthony Pappano, Sierra is joined by Dame Josephine Barstow as the narrator. Performances will be held February 22nd, 23rd and 24th, and tickets may be purchased here.
